Walking in Kent

Hartley Footpaths group
We meet on the second Sunday of every month, except at Easter if this falls on the second Sunday, when we move to another Sunday.

We have home-start walks (meeting at Hartley War Memorial in Ash Road at 10am or 10.30) and away walks (where we meet up at various Kentish locations at 10.30 or 11am, sharing cars where possible). We normally get back to Hartley at about 3pm or 3.30pm, wherever we start from, including a pub refreshment stop at something over half way round the walk. Our circular walks are approximately 6-8 miles on average.

All walks are open to anyone and are free (you just need to pay for your pub lunch) and designed to be comfortable for any averagely fit person. Proper walking gear is recommended. Children and well-behaved dogs welcome. Numbers vary from 4 people to 20 each month. Members of the group take it in turns to organise walks.

Anyone interested in joining a walk or being added to the email distribution list is welcome to contact Margaret Bown (Mags) on or 07801 416307.
